Guanacaste is known for many things, but surely, its surf is probably the top pick of most visitors. Surfers have come to find massive waves and big breaks for the last many decades. Those visitors that may not have surfing experience can always opt to hop on a paddle board instead.

Best Beaches

 

There are three popular beaches of Hacienda Pinilla, and the first one that you may want to check out is Langosta Beach. Quite along beach of gorgeous white sand, guests take long walks here or also find it a great place to have a morning run, halfway in the water. You can go into the water about 100 yards and still maintain your footing as the water is not so deep. Guests say that the sunset at this beach is worth experiencing at least one evening of your trip.

 

Avellanas Beach is next on the list of amazing beaches at Hacienda Pinilla. Of course, you can find some great sand and sun for long walks on the beach, but this location is famous for its excellent surf breaks. For this reason, many people refer to this beach as “Little Hawaii.” Surfers from beginners to advanced level riders enjoy the waves all season. Mansita Beach is not as popular as the other two, but offers great attractions worth checking out. This beach is right next to the JW Marriot Guanacaste, in the Hacienda Pinilla resort.Though not as long as Avellanas and Langosta beaches, Mansita beach still offers beautiful sand and popular snorkeling spots for those guests that want to stay closer to shore.
